Venom: Let There be Carnage     All of my life I have been a huge superhero fan. When I was little I was always drawn to Spider-Man and all the characters that play along side him. My favorite character besides Spider-Man is hands down Venom. I have always loved the idea of his character, and was so excited when they released Venom starring Tom Hardy in 2018. Today I am going to talk about the sequel, Venom: Let There be Carnage.     Who is Venom?      Venom is a character in the Marvel comics, that is commonly associated with Spider-Man. The character is defined as , " a sentient alien  symbiote  with an amorphous, liquid-like form, who survives by bonding with a host, usually human.  Jonah Rathburn     I have looked through Jonah's blogs and they all pop out to me in their own unique way. I will say that I am a little biased because me and Jonah share same interests. He also likes superheroes, like myself, which I don't find very many people with both of these interests. I have always been a fan of his work in the multiple classes we have had together. That is why I chose him for my classmate blog critique.     I really enjoyed his blog on NBA Top Shot , which are digital collectibles. I have always considered myself a big fan of the NBA, being that basketball is my favorite sport, but I had no idea what NBA Top Shot was until reading his blog. He goes into great depth on what they are, how to get them, has various links and videos to go along with his research. After reading through his work, I agree with him in the sense t...

We get so focused on the media outlets here in the states, that we forget some of the biggest are not in our country. News does not rest, there are stories to be covered through the entire day, and many countries over seas rely on big news networks to attain their information. Every country on the planet connects with each other, so something that happens in one country can effect many others, which is why International media is so important. Today, I am going to look at two of the biggest International Media outlets: The BBC and CBC.  BBC     The British Broadcast Corporation (BBC) is a public service broadcaster that is headquartered in Westminster, London. It is the world's oldest national broadcaster, and is the largest employed broadcaster in the world with over 22,000 employees. Their mission statement is , " We’re impartial and independent, and every ...
